LEGAL/OFFICE ASSISTANT                                                                                                                           
Seeking a part-time assistant for help in all office areas, including, answering telephones, greeting clients and walk-ins, taking prospective- and new-client case information, and getting updates as necessary, managing client files, following up with clients, prospective clients, and business associates as directed, monitoring deadlines, scheduling clients and client-transaction events, creating and completing documents, managing data and data processes, faxing, filing, and other necessary office tasks.
 

QUALIFICATIONS:                                                                                                                                                  

  • MUST BE PROFESSIONAL IN DEMEANOR, APPEARANCE, and SPEAKING SKILLS
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest degree of integrity
  • Motivated self-starter with high attention to detail
  • Clear and professional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently
  • Dependable, timely, honest, and trustworthy
  • No legal experience necessary.  Will train the right person.

 HOURS:

  • Must be available to start by 9:00 a.m. daily                                                                                               
  • 20 – 30 hours per week                                                                                                                                    
  • No weekend hours

COMPENSATION:

  • $9.00 per hour 

START DATE:

  • Ongoing 

OTHER:

  • Bilingual English/Spanish a PLUS

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

RESEARCH ASSISTANT
Seeking Paralegal student to research legal issues, compile data, draft memoranda, correspondence, and other legal documents, gather information from prospects and clients, and interface with professionals involved in legal processes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • No legal experience necessary
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest degree of integrity
  • Motivated self-starter with high attention to detail
  • Clear and professional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Electronic and hardcopy research skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
  • Regular access to computer and internet
  • Ability to travel to a local law library (e.g., your local courthouse)
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently

HOURS:

  • 10 – 15 hours per week, as necessary for your school requirements
  • Flexible work hours

MARKETING ASSISTANT
Seeking organized and creative student to maintain group marketing database, including customer and prospect lists, assist with developing and implementing marketing programs, special initiatives, and lead generation programs, prepare bulk mailings, assist with new business processing and administration as needed, including scheduling and confirming appointments, plan and execute short- and long-term marketing strategies and related projects to retain and grow customers, determine effectiveness of marketing campaigns by tracking and analyzing results, recommend changes and new methods to improve marketing efforts.
